Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On February 25, 2020, Troy M. Calkins notified Workiva Inc. (the “Company”) of his intent to retire from his roles as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal and Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary of the Company. The resignation from his role as Chief Legal Officer will be effective March 16, 2020, and the resignation from his roles as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary will be effective May 31, 2020 (the “Departure Date”). The Company has also announced Brandon Ziegler’s appointment as Senior Vice President and General Counsel, effective March 16, 2020. Mr. Ziegler was previously Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Medidata Solutions, a leading technology and data platform for life sciences.
The Company deeply appreciates Mr. Calkins’ service and commitment and wishes him well.
